(GSM) – Argentinian side Estudiantes are just 90 minutes away from the quarter finals of the Copa Libertadores following a 0-1 win at San Luis on Tuesday.
San Luis are one of two Mexican sides that were allowed to skip the group phase to make up for Mexican teams missing the knock-out phases due to swine flu last year.
The only goal of the match was scored after 25 minutes and came from Estudiantes forward Leandro Gonzalez.
The Argentinians had defender Clemente Rodriguez sent off with a second yellow card in the 69th minute but that set-back would not affect the scoreline.
The second leg will be played in Argentina on May 5th.
