(GSM) – Estudiantes climb to second place in Group 3 of the Copa Libertadores after a vital 2-0 win over Bolivar on Tuesday.

The defending South American champions had been struggling in recent Libertadores match, and again seemed to do so in the first half against Bolivar.

But the Argentinians did make the difference in the second half. Jose Sosa broke the deadlock five minutes after the break and Mauro Boselli doubled the advantage in minute 78.

With two games to go in this group, Estudiantes are now in second place behind Alianza Lima. Juan Aurich are third and fourth-placed Bolivar are no longer in contention.
