Spanish side Celta Vigo have signed midfielder Michael Krohn-Dehli from Brondby for an undisclosed fee.
The newly promoted La Liga side announced the transfer on their official website, stating that the player had signed a two-year deal at the club.
The 29-year-old arrives to Estadio de Balaidos as a replacement for Fabian Orellana, who has ended his loan spell at the club.
Krohn-Dehli shone at the 2012 European Championship, scoring 2 goals in 3 starts for Denmark, but that didn’t prove enough for his side to qualify for the quarter-finals.
The highly rated winger was subsequently paired with Swansea City, but in the end nothing came out of it.
Despite regularly being mentioned as one of the brightest talents in Denmark, Krohn-Dehli never quite managed to fulfill his huge potential.
After spending last four years at Brondby he was finally given a chance to impress in one of Europe’s strongest leagues.
