A number of top European clubs are hot on the trail of Sporting CP midfielder Joao Mario, according to Record.
The 23-year-old has been one of star performers for the Lions this season and his impressive showings clearly did not go unnoticed.
Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are believed to be leading the chase for his services, having expressed their interest last summer.
However, Record claims that Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool are keen as well, and it remains to be seen whether one of the interested sides will come forward with an official proposal ahead of the summer transfer window.
Joao Mario has been in excellent form this season, having managed 6 goals and 11 assists in 32 league outings.
He has also played himself into the first team plans of Portugal coach Fernando Santos and is expected to be given a starting berth at the Euro 2016 finals.
