The Spanish international Juan Mata is nearing the end of his contract with Manchester United and is attracting plenty of interest from Europe’s biggest clubs.
The likes of Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona have all been credited with an interest in the experienced midfielder even though latest reports claim that Arsenal have joined the chase.
The 30-year-old will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract at Old Trafford runs down and it is believed that all of the aforementioned clubs have already approached the Spaniard who is free to discuss terms with suitors.
Manchester United remain in discussions with Mata over a new deal but it’s highly unlikely that the Spaniard will be persuaded to remain in Manchester.
Former Chelsea midfielder will have plenty of options to choose from come the end of the season but Arsenal remain hopeful they will be able to persuade him to remain in the Premier League.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery already worked with Mata during their time at Valencia and it’s a card Gunners could play on in the summer.
