German daily newspaper Bild has suggested that five European powerhouses are hot on the trail of Wolfsburg star Kevin De Bruyne.
The Belgian midfielder quickly justified the hefty price tag after joining from Chelsea and he in turn became one of Europe’s most sought-after footballers.
Following a thoroughly impressive season with the Wolves, the 23-year-old has caught the eye of quite a few top European sides.
According to Bild, the likes of Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Manchester City are all readying summer bids.
Wolfsburg will attempt to keep hold of their prized asset by offering him an improved deal, but it is believed they would also consider offers in the region of €50 million.
De Bruyne has not only scored 10 league goals this term, but he has produced amazing 21 assists for his teammates and is on the road to set a new record, with former Wolfsburg midfielder Zvjezdan Misimovic making 22 assists in the 2008/2009 season.
