A number of top European clubs have been showing interest in Indonesian starlet Egy Maulana Vikri, according to the player’s father.
The 17-year-old impressed at the World Youth Festival in Toulan earlier this year, catching the eye of quite a few top sides in the process.
The talented forward is now hoping to make a move to Europe, and he has already received several lucrative offers.
While Portuguese clubs Benfica and Sporting CP appear to be leading the chase, Real Madrid, Getafe, Espanyol and an unnamed German club are also in the mix.
“There are two Portuguese clubs who are very interested in Benfica and Sporting Lisbon,” Egy’s foster father Subagja Suhian told reporters.
The negotiations with interested clubs will be held after Egy represents Indonesia in the U-19 Asian Cup qualifiers, taking place in South Korea.
