The Italian media outlets are reporting that Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski is a wanted man.
The 20-year-old Polish international has previously been linked with a move to Liverpool but Jurgen Klopp is not the only one admiring the Partenopei talent.
Zielinski made 47 appearances for Napoli last term and is slowly becoming a vital cog in Carlo Ancelotti’s machine. He was given all three starts in as many games of the new season and is expected to grow in a key player for Partenopei.
A brace against AC Milan grabbed the headlines with many of Europe’s top clubs lining up alongside Liverpool, hoping to sign him as early as January.
Manchester City and Bayern Munich are reportedly keeping a close eye of the Poland international who will be offered a new long-term contract by Napoli, however. Partenopei want to tie him down until 2022 and have already prepared a new deal that would push his release clause from €65 million to a number standing closer to €100 million.
Napoli kick off their Champions League campaign on Tuesday in Belgrade and are given the price of 8/13 to beat Crvena Zvezda.
