French newspaper L’Equipe has suggested that a host of Europe’s top clubs are hot on the trail of Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.
Having spent last seven years at Stade Velodrome, the 28-year-old is ready for a new challenge and it appears the club will not stand in his way at the end of the season.
According to L’Equipe, AC Milan are the latest side to have joined the race for the France international as they see him as a good long-term replacement for Christian Abbiati.
However, the Rossoneri could face stiff competition from Monaco, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid, who are also believed to be keen.
Steve Mandanda has amassed a total of 251 Ligue 1 appearances for OM since joining from Le Havre, while earning 16 France caps.
Marseille ruined their Europa League hopes with a string of poor performances, but they are 4/6 to return to winning ways against Rennes.
