It is not often that a player has so many of Europe’s top clubs scrambling around in an attempt to pip their rivals to his signature, but that seems to be what Hamburg fullback Josha Vagnoman has managed, according to the Mirror.
The 17-year old has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal, Chelsea Manchester City all interested, as well as Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, who should perhaps be considered the favourites given their record of purchasing rivals’ players.
Vagnoman has not yet signed professional forms with Hamburg, if reports are to be believed, but has already established himself as one of Europe’s brightest prospects, capable of playing on either side of the pitch as a fullback.
His fame seems to have come from the Under-17 World Cup, during which he featured in every game of Germany’s run to the quarter-finals, and a price tag of £2.66m has reportedly been slapped on his head.
