The Mail Online understands that Jonny Evans could leave West Bromwich Albion for just £3m if they are relegated this season.
The Northern Ireland captain has been strongly linked with a move to both Manchester City and Arsenal over the past two transfer windows though so far the Baggies have managed to keep hold of their man.
However, they may be powerless come the summer with the former Manchester United man’s relegation clause being revealed.
Evans swapped Old Trafford for the Hawthorns in the summer of 2015 and has since racked up eighty-seven appearances for the Midlands club in all competitions, scoring five goals.
Internationally, the thirty year old has been capped sixty-seven times for his country, scoring twice and featured for them at the 2016 European Championships.
Alan Pardew’s side currently sit in nineteen place in the Premier League level on points with bottom-of-the-table Swansea City.
