Evans wants long Leicester stay

“I want to stay and I’m sure it’s something that will be sorted soon. There’s been nothing really in terms of contract talks.

“Possibly that’s something that my agent and the club will do in the near future. I’ve really enjoyed my time at Leicester and if it’s an option that comes available it’s one I would take.”

Leicester defender Jonny Evans has confirmed that he wants to stay at Leicester City beyond the current season.

Evans, as you can see, hopes that any contract issues will be ironed out sooner rather than later as he looks beyond life this season and to what he can do with the Foxes on a long term basis.

He’s had his fair share of ups and downs over the years but at the age of 32, Evans does seem to have something left in the tank – even if some fans don’t want to admit that.
