ESPN reports that Inter Milan midfielder has agreed to join Mexican side Tigres in summer transfer worth €13 million.
Banega joined Nerazzurri on a free transfer last summer from Sevilla, but the Argentina international largely struggled to make an impact for the Serie A fallen giants and establish himself as an influence he once was for the La Liga side.
The 29-year-old midfielder failed to maintain his place in the starting team but still managed 33 competitive appearances, scoring six goals in the process.
And ESPN have picked up on a rumour from Mexican AS claiming that Ever Banega has already given a nod to Tigres who have also negotiated a summer deal with the Italian club.
The player’s agent Marcelo Simonian has since then moved on to deny such reports, claiming that there are no offers for his player neither from Mexico, nor China, as it was earlier suggested.
