Ever Banega nears summer exit

Superdeporte is reporting that Valencia midfielder Ever Banega will probably be leaving Mestalla in the summer transfer window.

The highly rated midfielder spent last six months on loan with Newell’s Old Boys after he had lost his place in the starting line-up, and he has now started pre-season training with los Che.

However, even with Juan Antonio Pizzi now gone, chances are that Ever Banega will not be staying at Mestalla for much longer.

The Argentina international is hoping to quit Valencia in search of first team football and there are several quality sides interested in his services.

Marseille boss Marcelo Bielsa will attempt to bring him to Stade Velodrome, whilst Sunderland and AC Milan are reportedly keen on his services as well.

Ever Banega missed the final cut as Alejandro Sabella named his World Cup squad, with los Albicelestes then going on to reach the final, where they are 5/4 to lift the title.
