Italian giants Juventus are reportedly hot on the trail of Sevilla playmaker Ever Banega, Il Corriere dello Sport has learned.
It is no secret that Max Allegri is on the lookout for an advanced playmaker and he has been linked with the likes of Oscar, Roberto Soriano and Riccardo Saponara, among others.
Nevertheless, the latest reports suggest that the Bianconeri are now considering a move for long-term target Ever Banega.
Juventus have been following the Argentina international for some ten years, but the opportunity to recruit the highly rated footballer never presented itself.
But, with Banega now pondering his options after kick-starting his career at Sevilla, the Italian champions look ready to pounce.
The 27-year-old is believed to be keen on a move to Turin, but he wants a contract worth at least €2.5 million plus bonuses.
Sevilla officials are in the process of drafting a new contract offer for Banega, while Everton are also keen on his services.
