Everton agree fee for Andre Gomes

According to a recent report from Sky Sports News, Everton have agreed to a deal of around £22 million for the signing of Andre Gomes from Barcelona. This deal has been in the works for quite some time now, with Gomes having a really strong campaign during his time on loan at Goodison Park last season. It is expected that the deal will be finalised and confirmed within the next 24 hours, as the Toffees look to make a big statement ahead of what is bound to be a huge season for the club.

Gomes was heavily linked with the likes of West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur in addition to Everton, but in the end, it seems as if Merseyside captured his heart.

Barca were always more than willing to get rid of him, and it was seemingly just a case of coming to a final decision on the official figure.
