Espanyol midfielder Wakaso Mubarak is followed by Everton and Inter, Spanish daily Marca has revealed.
The Ghanaian is enjoying one of the best seasons in his career and his impressive displays at Cornella El Prat did not go unnoticed.
Marca understands that both Everton and Inter had the player watched in Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Deportivo La Coruna.
Espanyol are one of a number of Spanish clubs that are experiencing financial difficulties, and they would not be able to resist a big money offer for Wakaso.
The 22-year-old has spent his entire professional career in Spain, playing for Elche, Villarreal and Espanyol.
He has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 3 goals and producing 6 assists in 25 La Liga matches.
Wakaso has also impressed playing for Ghana at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, scoring 4 goals in 5 matches, but that didn’t prove enough for the Black Stars to finish in top 3.
