Everton and Monaco are locked in the battle for Sporting CP star William Carvalho, according to A Bola.
The highly rated footballer has been heavily linked with a big club move for quite some time and he finally looks set to leave the Lions for greener pastures.
It is hardly surprising that he is on the radar of two of his former coaches as Marco Silva and Leonardo Jardim are keen on getting reunited with William Carvalho this summer.
The former is set to be appointed as the new Everton manager and he hopes the Portugal international will be tempted by the prospect of starring in English Premier League.
Meanwhile, Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim sees Carvalho as an excellent replacement for new Liverpool recruit Fabinho, and he will have money to spend after another profitable sale.
