Everton surprisingly triumphed over city rivals Liverpool on Wednesday evening at Goodison Park, with Jarrad Branthwaite and Dominic Calvert-Lewin on target for the Blues of Merseyside.
Speaking to the press after the game, manager Sean Dyche dedicated the victory, which not only helped his team’s cause in the relegation tussle, but also greatly diminished Liverpool’s hopes of winning the Premier League title, to the fans of the club and his players.
💬 “It’s for the fans, it’s for the players, I want them to enjoy that, I want them to experience all the highs and that’s a very big high last night.”
