According to a report from Sky Sports there has been another twist in the back and forth tussle for Idrissa Gueye, with Everton claiming that the midfielder isn’t for sale. This is despite the fact that Paris Saint-Germain made an offer for the 29 year old, which you’d think they wouldn’t bother doing if there was absolutely no chance of them securing his signature.
The Senegal international, who represented his country at this past summer’s World Cup, seems to be somewhat interested in the move.
Gueye made the jump over to Goodison Park back in 2016 when he signed from Aston Villa, and in that time he’s been able to establish himself as one of the most naturally talented midfielders the Toffees have had in quite a few years.
PSG are currently dealing with a few issues related to transfers off of the pitch, but even so, they seem to be incredibly keen on making a deal happen here.
