Premier League outfit Everton have emerged as favourites to land Lyon winger Rachid Ghezzal, Le 10 Sport can reveal.
The talented footballer is almost certain to quit les Gones this summer considering that his current contract is due to expire in less than a year.
Having been unable to agree a new deal at Parc OL, the 24-year-old has become a target for Paris Saint-Germain and West Ham, but Everton were the first side to make a concrete move.
Namely, the Hammers believe that Lyon will accept their €13 million proposal, with les Gones already lining up a move for Paul-Georges Ntep.
Ghezzal has managed a total of 11 goals and 13 assists in 81 league appearances, while he switched his allegiance from France to Algeria on international level.
The mere fact that he was not in a contention for the opening Ligue 1 fixture against Nancy is enough to suggest a summer exit is on the cards.
