Everton & Crystal Palace want Diaz

According to a recent report from Sport, Crystal Palace and Everton are both interested in Real Madrid’s Mariano Diaz.

The 27-year-old forward hasn’t quite been able to light the world on fire at the Santiago Bernabeu, and as a result of that, he looks set to leave the Spanish giants either in the January transfer window or next summer.

Palace and Everton are both in need of some fresh blood, even though the latter were incredibly busy in the latest transfer window.

Diaz has shown glimpses of brilliance but he’s hoping that, given a change in scenery and most likely a change in division, he’ll be able to get back on track. Palace are in need of a natural goalscorer up top to work with some of their growing stars, but there’s definitely a chance that both teams will end up falling down the pecking order with regards to the race to sign Diaz.
