Everton dealt Memphis Depay blow

Everton have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Manchester United forward Memphis Depay, according to the Mirror.

The Netherlands international has struggled to find his best form since moving to Old Trafford and has made just four league appearances under Jose Mourinho, all of which have come as a substitute.

His brace for his country in Sunday’s win over Luxembourg were his first goals since February, when he netted in the Europa League.

The twenty-two year old has netted just seven times in fifty-two appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils while he scored forty-nine in one hundred and twenty-four outings for previous club PSV Eindhoven and has five in twenty-seven games at international level.

Roma are also interesting in securing his services, as are Turkish duo Fenerbache and Galatasaray and all may have a better chance as United don’t want to sell to a Premier League rival.
