According to Sky Sports, Everton are demanding £28 million plus a series of add-ons from RB Leipzig for Ademola Lookman, as the German club continues to go after the 20-year-old midfielder.
Leipzig initially made an improved offer of £22 million, which was already a significant jump up from their first bid. Everton boss Marco Silva has made no secret of the fact that he wants to keep hold of Lookman, but the man himself certainly had a lot of success during his loan spell there last season.
Everton have started the season well after making a series of interesting moves in the transfer window, but if Lookman does end up leaving, they won’t be able to replace him courtesy of the English window being closed.
Leipzig have gotten off to a strong start so far this season, and will attempt to progress in the UEFA Europa League when they take on Zorya in their playoff.
