Everton are interested in signing Max Aarons from Norwich City this summer, according to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Apparently, the right-back a high priority target for manager Carlo Ancelotti, who is keen to boost the competition for that spot in his team, but he is not the only name on the list of potential candidates. The Toffees are considering other players as well, aware that Aarons is wanted by several top European clubs. He came close to joining Barcelona last summer and the Catalans are believed to have maintained their interest in his services, while Bayern Munich made contact with his representatives last month. Norwich manager Daniel Farke mentioned the 21-year-old as the only player at the club to have sparked concrete inquiries during the winter transfer window.
Aarons is, of course, a regular member of the starting XI for the Canaries. This term he has made 33 appearances in all competitions so far, scoring once and adding three assists to his record as well. His contract expires in 2024.
