The Sun reports that Everton are lining up a move for Peterborough keeper Joe Lewis after the keeper was surprisingly called up the England squad last week.
ÂÂ
The £3million-rated Peterborough keeper was on the bench for England’s 3-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday.
ÂÂ
Goodison boss David Moyes believes Lewis, 20, has massive potential while Liverpool and Manchester United had him watched last season.
ÂÂ
Lewis was bought from Championship side Norwich in January, with the Canaries surprisingly letting go of the future star for just £400,000. Despite Lewis impressing as a youth at Carrow Road, boss Glenn Roeder deemed Lewis as surplus to requirements at let him go.
Now Peterborough could recieve as much as £3 million for the star, although Peterborough will not want the star to leave after they achieved promotion to League 1 this season.
