Everton eye Chelsea defender

Chelsea have done some really good business already this summer, with two important signings. They signed Hakim Ziyech from Ajax in February and more recently, they managed to get Timo Werner from RB Leipzig. That was a somewhat surprising deal and now many are saying that even Kai Havertz could be the player Chelsea want. But whilst the Blues are already stocked up front, that is not the case in defence.

Frank Lampard should start thinking about improving at centre-back, as that is one of their main issues, but they could also lose another centre-back this summer. That is Kurt Zouma, who is the subject of interest from Everton. Le10Sport claim that the Frenchman could be making a move to Goodison Park, after he already played there in 2018-19 on loan. They now want to get him on a permanent basis.

He did not play much in Lampard’s team this season and if he goes, then the Blues will have even more work to do in the market.
