Premier League outfit Everton are weighing up summer bid for Sporting CP midfielder Adrien Silva, according to Record.
The Toffees are expected to seriously reinforce the squad in the summer transfer window and the Portuguese footballer appears to be high on their wish list.
New manager Ronald Koeman was impressed with the midfielder’s performances for the Selecao at the Euro 2016 finals and he now hopes to bring him to Goodison Park.
That will be no easy task considering that the 27-year-old has another four years left on his deal at Estadio Jose Alvalade that also contains a €45 million release clause.
Adrien Silva is not the first Sporting CP hotshot to catch the eye of Everton coaching staff, with the Toffees also showing interest in William Carvalho.
The Goodison Park outfit will be hoping to show considerable improvement on last season and they can be backed at 7/2 to achieve a top 6 finish.
