Everton are weighing up a summer move for Valencia midfielder Seydou Keita, according to TalkSport.
The 34 year old rejected a move to Merseyside during January when Liverpool made an approach – instead opting to sign for Valencia on a six month deal with an option of an additional year.
Previous to his transfer to the Mestalla, the Mali midfielder had a four year spell with Barcelona, where he won a host of major honours, including three La Liga titles, two Copa del Ray’s and two Champions Leagues.
He has also played in France’s Ligue 1 and the Chinese Super League, whilst internationally he has won forty-six full caps and scored twelve goals.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez is keen to strengthen his squad after guaranteeing European qualification for next season.
The Toffee’s are certain to finish in the top six of the Premier League and, with Arsenal not playing until Monday, will reclaim fourth spot if they avoid defeat to Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
