Everton are considering a January move for Feyenoord defender Bruno Martins Indi, according to De Telegraaf.
The highly rated footballer has already been linked with a move to English Premier League, as well as a switch to Napoli, but the Eredivisie outfit somehow managed to keep hold of him.
De Telegraaf is now reporting that Premier League side Everton are ready to step up their interest in the 21-year-old player.
The Toffees attempted to sign Martins Indi on transfer deadline day when it became clear that Marouane Fellaini would be sold to Manchester United.
However, having failed to complete the deal in time, the Merseyside outfit are ready to make things right in January.
With Leighton Baines heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, the Toffees could really use the player who can play at both centre-back and left-back.
Roberto Martinez’s side currently sit just two points behind second-placed Chelsea, while they are 7/4 odds for a top 6 finish.
