Croatian newspaper Sportske Novosti is reporting that Everton are considering a summer bid for Inter Milan hotshot Mateo Kovacic.
The 20-year-old has shown a great deal of promise since joining the Nerazzurri from Dinamo Zagreb, but new coach Roberto Mancini is demanding more from the talented footballer.
According to the latest reports, Premier League outfit Everton are hot on the trail of Kovacic and could come forward with an official proposal in the summer.
Sportske Novosti has suggested that the Toffees plan to submit a €20 million proposal for the youngster’s services.
Mateo Kovacic is enjoying his most successful season since arriving at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, having netted 8 times in 31 competitive outings.
The Croatia international started the season as a holding midfielder, but has mostly been used behind the strikers since Roberto Mancini took over the reigns.
Despite his fragile age, Kovacic already has 19 Croatia caps to his name and he featured in three matches at the 2014 World Cup.
