Everton eyeing Momo Diame

Daily Mirror has learned that top 4 hopefuls Everton are weighing up a summer move for West Ham midfielder Mohamed Diame.

The Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is keen to get reunited with the Senegal international having worked with him at Wigan Athletic.

Martinez reportedly sees Diame as a perfect replacement for Gareth Barry, who could leave the club when his loan deal expires at the end of the season.

Diame has recently hinted he is interested in a big club move, and the good news is his release clause stands at mere £3.5 million.

The 26-year-old has spent last two seasons at Boleyn Ground, scoring 7 goals in 66 Premier League outings, but it appears he is looking for a new challenge.

Diame is also believed to be on the radar of Liverpool, meaning the Merseyside rivals could enter a real bidding war for his signature in the summer transfer window.
