Le 10 Sport understands that Premier League outfit Everton have reportedly joined the race to sign Manchester City full-back Bacary Sagna.
The experienced defender will be out of contract at the end of the season, and it is now clear he will be leaving on a free transfer.
West Ham United and Marseille were among the first sides to express their interest in signing the 34-year-old footballer, but Everton are now in the mix as well.
The Toffees seem to want Sagna to provide competition for Seamus Coleman on the right flank, although it remains to be seen whether the Frenchman would be interested in playing second fiddle at Merseyside.
Sagna spent last two and a half years at Etihad Stadium having arrived on a free transfer from Arsenal, and he went on to make 50 Premier League appearances for the Citizens, featuring in 13 matches in the current campaign.
