It has been reported that the Premier League outfit have made an offer to the Spanish and European giants for James, and that talks between the clubs are progressing well, with an agreement over a deal close.

The 29-year-old joined Madrid from AS Monaco in the summer of 2014, and has won the La Liga title and the Champions League twice each.
