Everton in talks with Stephane Sessegnon

Former PSG, Sunderland and most recently West Bromwich Albion forward Stephane Sessegnon is believed to be finalising a deal with Premier League side Everton.

The experienced 32-year-old winger who is also able to fill in the attacking midfield role and play as a secondary striker is currently a free agent and is still allowed to negotiate with interested parties.

Without a club since July when he left WBA, the Benin international’s agent is apparently negotiating a deal with the Toffees, if reports from French media outlet Le Telegramme are to be believed.

Sessegnon’s agent is reported to be finalising a transfer back to the Premier League, which is why he put all of his other clients like the 30-year-old left-back Aurelien Montaroup aside until a deal for former Sunderland and WBA player is done.

In fact it was Montaroup who has revealed the information in the first place with French media further investigating the story to find out that it’s Everton who are interested in Benin forward.

Stephane Sessegnon has made the total of 166 Premier League appearances so far, scoring 25 times during his spells with Black Cats and Baggies.
