Everton interested in Perisic

According to a recent report from Goal, Everton are in the hunt alongside West Ham to try and sign Inter Milan forward Ivan Perisic.

Perisic, best known for his exploits across Europe as well as in the 2018 World Cup, now sits as 32 with many believing he’s in the last few years of his best years as a striker. Others feel like he’s already past it, raising questions about whether or not a club like West Ham needs to be going in for him.

Everton, on the other hand, could do with some more options – especially if they can bring him in as soon as the January transfer window.

Rafa Benitez’s men have been hit by a string of injury problems and if they can’t find a way to get some bodies in over the winter, there’s a very real possibility that they’ll be left lingering in the bottom half this season.
