Daily Mirror is reporting that Everton are planning a summer move on Sunderland starlet Jack Colback.
The 24-year-old has developed into a key player for the Black Cats over the years and has been enjoying the best season of his career.
However, his current deal is due to expire at the end of the season, which has fueled speculation linking him with a summer exit.
And with the player already rejecting several contract offers from Sunderland, it appears a move away from the club could be on the cards.
According to Daily Mirror, Everton hope to take advantage of the situation and lure the highly rated midfielder to Goodison Park.
The Toffees could stay without Gareth Barry when his loan ends this summer and they see Colback as a perfect replacement for the Manchester City player.
Colback has been in fine form this season, having managed 2 goals and as many assists in 24 Premier League outings.
