Everton keen on Moussa Sissoko

Premier League giants Everton have expressed their interest in signing Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko, L’Equipe has suggested.

The Frenchman is without a doubt one of the most sought-after footballers this summer and he has so far been linked with Real Madrid, Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Crystal Palace, among other clubs.

Sissoko even confirmed he would be happy to join the Champions League winners, but los Blancos have yet to make their move.

Meanwhile, Everton and Inter Milan have emerged as his new suitors, but it remains whether they will be prepared to match Newcastle’s £35 million asking price.

Moussa Sissoko has made it clear that he is eager to leave the Championship side for greener pastures this summer, but Magpies manager Rafael Benitez is adamant that the club are under no pressure to sell.

After losing the first two games in the new season, Newcastle United are 7/10 favourites to defeat Reading at St James’ Park.
