Everton keen on Thomas Meunier

Premier League outfit Everton are said to be holding a transfer interest in PSG right-back Thomas Meunier.

The Belgian international has been pushed down the pecking order at Parc des Princes and is currently behind both Dani Alves and Thilo Kehrer. The out-of-favour defender could be on his way out of the club and to Everton, according to Le10 Sport.

The Toffees are said to be looking for a long-term replacement for Seamus Coleman who lost his starting place to youngster Jonjoe Kenny recently.

Everton are said to have already contacted Paris Saint-Germain about signing Meunier, while the reports add the player himself could be keen on moving to Goodison.

Meunier is contracted to Everton until 2020 and it appears he would be willing to accept a pay cut in order to improve his playing time and once again become a first-team regular.
