French daily newspaper L’Equipe understands that Everton and Lazio are among clubs showing interest in Montpellier winger Ryad Boudebouz.
The 26-year-old has been one of Ligue 1’s star performers for quite some time, and he is probably enjoying the most successful season of his career.
Despite representing mid table side Montpellier, Boudebouz has managed 7 goals and 2 assists in 16 league outings this season, and it appears he has done enough to secure a big club move.
Namely, Italian giants Lazio have rekindled their interest in the Algerian, but they could face stiff competition from the player’s other suitors.
According to L’Equipe, Everton, West Bromwich, Newcastle United, Athletic Bilbao and Villarreal are all keen on the highly rated footballer.
Boudebouz will miss the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations tournament through a knee injury, and while he is unlikely to move clubs in January, summer exit is a realistic possibility.
