Everton lead chase for Kamal Bafounta

France Football is reporting that Premier League outfit Everton have emerged as favourites to sign Nantes youngster Kamal Bafounta.

The 16-year-old has shown a great deal of potential at youth level and he is now being heavily linked with a summer exit.

Considering that he doesn’t have a professional contract with Nantes, the talented midfielder can leave on a free transfer, with the Canaries only entitled to training compensation.

Several top European clubs have already expressed their interest, while latest reports suggest that Everton lead the chase at the moment.

The Toffees recently reached out to the player’s representatives and they will attempt to persuade Bafounta to move to Goodison Park in the summer.
