Everton have been linked with a move for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman, according to Daily Express.
With star midfielder Marouane Fellaini likely to leave in the summer, the Toffees are on the lookout for a new midfield general.
Everton have been keeping an eye on PSV Eindhoven star Kevin Strootman and they look ready to step up their interest in the summer.
The problem is that top European clubs are also eyeing the Netherlands international, with Manchester United and AC Milan reportedly keen.
Kevin Strootman is already considered a key player for both club and country and he was even handed the captain’s armband by Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal.
The 23-year-old has been in scintillating form this season, scoring 5 goals and producing 10 assists in 30 Eredivisie matches.
He also started every one of Netherlands’ six 2014 World Cup qualifiers, albeit failing to get on the scoresheet.
