Everton linked with Leicester City defender Harry Souttar

Everton are interested in signing Harry Souttar from Leicester City before the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Everton, who are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season, are looking at bringing in Souttar as a potential replacement for Ben Godfrey.

Leeds United, who are looking to win automatic promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of the season, and Italian club Genoa are interested in signing Godfrey. Everton are considering letting him go, and if they do so, then they will make a move for Souttar.

Souttar has been on the books of Leicester since January 2023 when he joined from Stoke City. The 25-year-old Australia international central defender has made one start and two substitute appearances in the Championship for the Foxes this season.
