Premier League outfit Everton have largely struggled to replace Romelu Lukaku who left for Manchester United last summer and search for a prolific solution upfront is ongoing at Goodison.
Turkish reports now claim that the Toffees seem to have found the right choice in Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun who lit up the Turkish league last season with 20 goals and 5 assists in 29 starts.
Besiktas key man continued in style this term as well and has thus far netter 13 goals across all competitions which has alarmed the host of Europe’s top clubs.
Tosun has been linked with the likes of Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Tottenham but it seems as if Everton have won the race for his signature.
Turkish reports claim Tosun has agreed personal terms with the Toffees, whereas the Premier League club have also logged a £20 million bid to try and persuade Besiktas to sell their star player next month.
