Everton open to selling Tottenham target Jordan Pickford

Everton manager Rafael Benitez is open to selling Jordan Pickford in the January transfer window, according to The Sun. It has been reported by the British tabloid that Benitez himself is open to selling the England international goalkeeper in order to strengthen his squad.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Pickford. Everton value the 27-year-old at £30 million. The former Sunderland goalkeeper earns £100,000 per week and has a contact at the Merseyside club until 2024.

Pickford is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League and is a regular in the Everton first team. The 27-year-old would make Tottenham better between the posts and would compete with Hugo Lloris for a place between the posts. Pickford is still only 27, which means that he would be a brilliant long-term signing for Everton.
