Premier League outfit Everton are weighing up summer bid for Werder Bremen defender Jannik Vestergaard, according to German daily newspaper Bild.
The Toffees have been impressed with the talented footballer and are ready to offer between €8m and €10m for his services.
And having paid mere €2.5 million for the 22 year old just three months ago, Werder Bremen could find the proposal too good to refuse.
After spending his youth career with Brondby, Jannik Vestergaard joined Hoffenheim in 2010 and went on to make 71 Bundesliga outings for the club before moving to Weserstadion last January.
He has since started 11 Bundesliga fixtures, scoring one goal, and he clearly did enough to catch the eye of Everton manager Roberto Martinez.
The left-footed centre-back has so far made just two appearances for the Danish national team, but chances are he will soon develop into one of the country’s most accomplished defenders.
