Premier League outfit Everton are readying summer bid for Sporting CP star William Carvalho, according to A Bola.

The Toffees boss Sam Allardyce is planning a major squad overhaul after a somewhat disappointing season and the Portugal hotshot has emerged as one of his top targets.

Everton have been following William Carvalho for quite some time and they finally seem ready to make their move.

Even though he has a €45 million release clause in his contract, the highly rated midfielder could be available for less having recently clashed with chairman Bruno de Carvalho.

William Carvalho has become one of Europe’s most sought-after footballers and it looks as though he will finally leave the Lions for greener pastures.
