Everton set to sign Cenk Tosun

The Metro is reporting that Premier League giants Everton are set to complete the signing of Turkish striker Cenk Tosun.

Having struggled up front from the start of the season, the Toffees were looking to recruit a proven goalscorer in January and they are set to get their man.

According to various reports in England, Everton have agreed a £25 million deal for Tosun, with the transfer set to be wrapped up later today.

Cenk Tosun needed some two years to nail down a regular starting berth at Besiktas, but once he succeeded, there was no stopping him.

A total of 28 goals in last 49 league appearances proved enough for the 26-year-old to secure a lucrative move to England, where he will be hoping to make an instant impact.
