Everton are set to sign Manchester United striker Louis Saha, subject to the player passing a medical. The Frenchman’s departure has been expected by the Manchester United fans, some of which tired of seeing the player sidelined with one injury after another.
The fee that Everton will pay Manchester United has not yet been disclosed, but the player will sign a 2 year contract with the option of a third year.
Saha’s departure will leave Manchester United with fewer options in their already weak attacking lines, but he will help fill the void created by Andy Johnson’s move to Fulham from Everton.
Saha has become Everton’s third signing of the summer – Lars Jacobsen and Segundo Castillo being the others.
