Everton have completed the signing of keeper Marcus Hahnemann, the Toffees have revealed.
The American has been a free agent since being released by Wolverhampton earlier this summer.
The 39-year-old has signed a short-term deal until January, as he is set to provide cover for Tim Howard and Jan Mucha.
Everton boss David Moyes reveals the club needed to sign another goalkeeper.
“It is difficult when you only have two senior goalkeepers. It only needs one of them to go down and then you are in trouble,” Moyes told club’s official website.
